I really enjoyed this book it was a roller coaster of excitementDakeb was a boy when his parents decided they must flee and hide in the woods to be safe from the feared dragon warrior their only goal is to take anything they need and destroy and kill what was left while fleeing they hear a man groaning they save him and he and dakeb's parents lived in the forest when one day dakeb is sneaking around the woods he sees a dragon and tells his father who then punishes him for lieing and sneaking passed the homes boundaries Mahalia is a dragon and a girl she is the daughter of the man dakeb's parents saved when he was a baby he stops his dad from killing the man and his secret daughter mahalia is rare because of the fact when a women gives birth to a warriors baby they usually die more male are born then females and the females that are born turn into dragons and after the hit adulthood the dragon takes over and they are no longer able to turn back to a human what makes mahalia special is she heart bonded with dakeb which dosnt normally happen because the leader of the warriors beats the women into submission and then chooses their rider also even though she is an adult her dragon hasn't taken over
Will dakeb bring peace to the dragon warriors will he and mahalia end up together forever or will she end up stuck as a dragon to find out I strongly recommend that you read this book I was given this arc for an honest review by the author 5 gold stars

Dakeb dragon warrior written by J Thiele is like no other shifter book I have read crossing from old world warriors and dragons witches and magic through to todays paranormal books. what a breath of fresh air. The story starts with the love of one man for his family choosing the lessor of to evils to keep his family safe.. The bond of a boy and girl develop into true love.. they overcome the tyranny of a ruthless leader who enslaves the dragons and kills and takes what he wants from others. the twists in this plot are amazing and intricate giving you an in depth understanding of the dragons in the story. I really enjoyed this book and cant wait to read the next book TOTALLY AMAZING

one of the best books ive read so far this month. Jordin has really written beyond her realm. Dakeb is a book that you never want to end. the story flows so perfect that i felt as if i was in it. Dakeb may not seem like much but when life unfolded in front of him he does what must be done.

I absolutely loved this book! I am praying there will be a second to come very soon.
Dekab and his family go to hide when he was just a baby. Towns are being destroyed and his father wants to protect him the only way he knows how, which is to hide in the forest. As Dakeb grows and explores he soon runs across a creature he has been warned about. He feels adraw to the creature and must hide it from his family. As time passes Dekab will soon learn his destiny.
Will he be able to over come all obstacles and come out on the other side the victory? Only one way to find out.....READ THIS BOOK.
This is the fourth series I have read by J Thiele and I was unsure of this series, Dakeb Dragon Warrior #1 to be honest.
However to my surprise I was hooked the story begins when Dakeb is a baby hiding in the woods with his parents and a injured stranger Jemaah, that they find along the way, who holds the knowledge to help them survive. Dakeb sees a young dragon in the woods but his father will not believe this to be true and the dragon is forgotten for a while. The years fly by quickly and Dakeb's true nature shows him to be the mighty Dragon Warrior. Heartache, love, fights, family secret's, twists and betrayal soon follow Dakeb.
This book contains brutal deaths, hot bounding and magical powers.
